Dawna Samuels
Founder and Principal
Dawna Samuels earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, in 2014. Since then, she has built a distinguished career in both commercial and heavy civil construction, with a focus on complex, high-specification projects. Dawna brings over a decade of hands-on expertise managing and executing large-scale infrastructure work, including specialized concrete and airfield paving projects. She has successfully led numerous Department of Defense contracts across military installations throughout the United States, serving in roles ranging from on-site superintendent to project manager. Her portfolio includes federal, Caltrans, and remote site work, showcasing her deep technical knowledge, leadership, and commitment to delivering exceptional results under demanding conditions.
Peridot Engineering is a certified Women Owned Small Business serving the Southern California region since 2014. Peridot specializes in site preparation, earthwork, concrete demolition and recycle, asphalt milling and demolition, underground utilities, electrical distribution, concrete foundations and structures and high strength specialty concrete structures.
Peridot also offers construction management services catering to the federal and state transportation industry. We offer experience in managing projects of any size, no project is too small or large. Peridot offers staff experienced and certified in Quality Control Manager, Site Safety and Health Officer, Scheduling, Transportation Inspector and Site Planning.
